Ritual of Runes

Ever since I was a child, I have enjoyed games where you trade resources with other players. There is one big problem that most of them have though. Specifically, trading is almost always discouraged by the game itself. If you trade with someone who is doing worse than you, they are not going to have resources that you need. If you trade with someone doing better than you, they are not going to accept any trade that doesn’t get them closer to winning, which you can’t let happen. This problem stems from most games being purely competitive. Ritual of Runes was designed from the ground up to encourage trading.
